“All the great reviews are right; this is a truly special place. Our rooms were immensely comfortable and beautifully decorated. The downstairs parlors, decorated in keeping with the age of the building, are really exquisite; and the sunroom is a lovely place to sit and look across at the Shawangunks. But the best part is the hosts - they are so friendly and accommodating, knowledgeable about the area and are beyond great innkeepers. The breakfasts are out of this world and excellent baked goods are available all day. So, if you’re lucky enough to go stay at the inn, GO!”
Weekend Getaway
“Just got home from an incredible stay at the inn with my husband and in laws. The owners, Michael and Robert, went above and beyond to ensure everything about our stay was perfect.
The location is beautiful, overlooking their orchard and the mountains. The house is beautifully designed, spotlessly clean and comfortable with large private rooms and wonderfully renovated bathrooms. Very comfortable and quiet sleep.
Our favorite part was the breakfast — the hosts catered to our dietary restrictions (amazing freshly baked gluten free treats and homemade gluten free French toast) along with fresh fruit, juice, coffee, sausage, and the best quiche I’ve ever had. Everything was delicious, comfortable, and we couldn’t recommend more. Highly recommend if visiting upstate New York or biking the rail trail. We’ll be back!
