October Getaway

Our group of 8 took over the whole Inn. We were all thrilled beyond belief. The innkeepers Robert and Michael are so pleasant, welcoming and cordial and make you feel so at home. The view from the back of the house is expansive and gorgeous. The Inn is charming and beautifully appointed, a wonderful home away from home They even made arrangements to have a very talented chef make dinner for us one evening I absolutely loved this place and the surrounding area which has lots to do and see. I highly recommend this place for a great getaway. You will not be disappointed. I almost forgot to mention the tremendous breakfast they serve. Bring your appetite.

Hospitality perfected ~ a hidden treasure

What a delightful discovery! I had only one night at the Inn at Kettleboro, but wished I could have had more. The setting is both tranquil and striking, the gracious old building has been exquisitely restored and tastefully furnished, the bedrooms (all on the second floor) are immaculate, inviting and restful with wonderfully comfortable beds and bedding. Every small thoughtful touch you could wish for has been provided, including extra blankets in the wardrobe and a soft nightlight in the bathroom.
Downstairs the glass-fronted breakfast room is filled with light and has a spectacular sweeping view, and the fare is just as stellar, generous and memorable. From the blueberry lemon pancakes to the not-your-mother's avocado toast ~ complete with pickled onions, pumpkin seeds, egg, fresh herbs and even an edible flower tucked into the fresh greens ~ both the food and the presentation were nothing short of art. The hosts could not have been warmer or more gracious, and were a mine of fascinating information about the area and all there is to explore and enjoy there.
This is truly the gold standard of intimate country inns, and I left already looking forward to a return!
