Meet your Hosts

Owners of the Inn at Kettleboro

Michael & Robert, owners of Kettleboro

Your hosts, Robert and Michael, both lifelong residents of Ulster County, purchased and lovingly restored this 19th-century family home in 2012, recognizing its potential to become a truly special guest retreat. Following an extensive renovation focused on preserving the home's historic character while incorporating modern comforts, they created a destination that celebrates the property's rich heritage and stunning views of the rolling Shawangunk Mountains.

With Robert's background in hospitality and Michael's meticulous attention to detail, their shared vision of creating a classic bed-and-breakfast experience for both local visitors and travelers from afar became a reality. In 2014, The Inn at Kettleboro opened its doors and quickly earned a reputation as "the inn with a view."

Each stay at Kettleboro includes a hearty farm-to-table breakfast served in our spacious breakfast room, where guests can enjoy panoramic views of the Gunks. The Inn is ideally situated near some of the Hudson Valley's most celebrated outdoor attractions. Guests can walk or bike directly onto the Wallkill Valley Rail Trail located behind the property, explore the renowned hiking trails of the Shawangunk Ridge, or spend the day discovering the unique shops, restaurants, and galleries of nearby New Paltz.

As evening approaches, guests gather on the expansive bluestone patio to take in unforgettable sunsets across the valley. During the cooler months, several inviting parlors and a cozy fireplace provide the perfect setting to relax and unwind.

With four thoughtfully appointed guest rooms, each offering modern amenities and exceptional comfort, you'll find the perfect place to rest, recharge, and experience the beauty of the Hudson Valley.

We look forward to welcoming you to The Inn at Kettleboro.
